Why is it worth?

As a graduate you will be able to combine economic and technological aspects with the environmental ones. You will be prepared to work in a manufacturing company, you will also be a valuable employee in a service sector where technical resources play a key role in the operation of a company.

The Management and Production Engineering major educates engineers-managers in accordance with the concept of sustainable development. The major was created in response to the labour market demand for engineers with managerial skills. This interdisciplinary field of study provides the necessary technical, economic, and managerial qualifications for effective management of material and technical resources, staff and production processes.

While studying Management at UEM, you can get an American Bachelor of Science in Business Management diploma issued by Herzing University (USA). You will receive the American Bachelor of Science diploma after completing just one year of study at this University. After completing your studies in the USA, you can apply to extend your visa by one year. Consequently, you can take up a job under the so-called Optional Practical Training.

After completing the first degree studies, you have the opportunity to continue your learning majoring in Management and Production Engineering and gain a master degree.

The Polish Accreditation Committee has positively assessed the quality of education at UEM Management and Production Engineering on several occasions.


As a graduate you will gain knowledge in manufacturing engineering, economic sciences and management. You will gain managerial and problem-solving skills in a selected area of production engineering, including:

designing new and supervising existing manufacturing and operating processes and systems,

supervising facilities and management systems,

managing costs, finances and capital,

business management,



physical investment management,

formulating tasks in technology, management and finances, technology transfer and innovation.

You will also be prepared to:

manage production processes in a selected area of production engineering,

organise, manage and coordinate the work of staff teams,

participate in the implementation of new solutions, particularly those involving technological and organisational innovation and participate in technical and organisational consultancy work in a chosen field of manufacturing engineering.

Declarations concerning the choice of specialisation in Management and Production Engineering are given by the candidate while submitting the documents. The final decision on the choice of specialisation is made by the student after the first year of the first degree studies.
