Staff Week 2022
The annual Staff Week, organised as part of the Erasmus+ Programme, took place from 4 to 8 July 2022 at the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw.

The event was attended by staff from partner universities from Armenia, Kosovo and Ukraine:

  • Taron Aleksanyan from National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia,
  • Agron Bajraktari, Fatime Musliu Shala and Armend Hysa from University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj,
  • Oleksandr Labenko from National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine,
  • Krystyna Shechkova from Sumy State University,
  • Iryna Sushko from National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”.

Participants took part in meetings devoted to, among others:

  • forms of cooperation with the socio-economic environment,
  • international marketing and cooperation,
  • functioning of higher education systems in Poland and partner countries,
  • education quality assurance systems and tools,
  • organisational, administrative and teaching challenges during the pandemic and plans related to development of distance learning,
  • international cooperation within the Erasmus+ Programme,
  • learning basics of Polish language.

 

These meetings were an excellent occasion to discuss, exchange observations, share experience and good practices. They also provided an opportunity to establish bilateral cooperation between the partners. The Staff Week was also attended by the University authorities and staff members. Among them were: Institutional Erasmus+ Coordinator – A Vice-rector, dr Justyna Kłys, prof. UEM, Erasmus+ Programme Coordinators – mgr inż. Karolina Urban and mgr Paulina Wąż, a Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Management – dr Katarzyna Adamiak, prof. UEM, a Vice-Dean for Quality and Development of the Faculty of Architecture, dr Bogdan Gorczyca, prof. UEM, mgr Ievgeniia Mashukova – a staff from the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Engineering and Management, mgr Nataliia Sokolova and Andrzej Ignatiuk– staff from the International Cooperation and Marketing Department.

 

During the event, participants also had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the infrastructure of WSEiZ, see the interiors of the Palace of Culture and Science, learn about their interesting history, admire the panorama of Warsaw from the 30th floor of the Palace of Culture and Science as well as visit Warsaw’s Praga district.
