Application

All incoming students who want to study under the Erasmus+ Programme at the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw – UEM (WSEiZ) must be officially nominated by their home university via email sending at erasmus@wseiz.pl or using Erasmus Dashboard.

Succesfully nominated students will receive a welcome message and detailed information concerning application procedure by email.

Application deadline

The application deadlines for the academic year 2023/2024 are:

  • Full year/winter semester: 1st June 2023
  • Summer semester: 1st December 2023

*Please not that these are the deadlines for students to submit their application.

Application documents

  1. Application form – filled in and duly signed by a student and a home university’s Coordinator should be uploaded into the WSEiZ Erasmus Enrolment System.
  2. Letter of Acceptance – will be issued within a few days after a submission of the duly signed application form.
  3. Learning agreement (LA) – student must fill in the LA by selecting the courses he/she would like to attend at UEM in consultation with the home university. OLAs are also acceptable.
  4. Insurance – a copy of the European Health Insurance Card and other required insurance.
    • Before arrival, all incoming students must send to the Erasmus+ Office copies of their insurance. Its coverage should include health insurance, insurance against accidents and liability insurance including damages caused by a student at a study place.
    • Important issue: insurance must cover the costs of a body’s transportation to a home country in case of death.
    • Due to the current pandemic situation we recommend to buy the insurance which will also cover the Covid-19 medical treatments in Poland.
    • EU citizens must have the European Health Insurance Card in order to be able to use medical services in Poland.
  5. Invitation Letter (only for students who need a visa) – a student applies independently for a visa. In order to receive an Invitation Letter write a request at erasmus@wseiz.pl.

*Before the beginning of each semester the Welcome Meeting for all incoming Erasmus+ students will take place. The date and time of the meeting will be announced later.

Accommodation

Accommodation

UEM offers for incoming Erasmus+ students places in two dormitories. Interested students should select an option in the application form, contact the Erasmus Team and pay a deposit.

The standard of room varies, the number of places is limited. Thus, the allocation is based on a “first come, first served” basis.

If a student is not interested in booking a place in one of the above mentioned dormitories needs to look for accommodation on its own.

After Arrival

After Arrival

Each incoming student should come to the Erasmus+ Office to confirm him/her arrival by getting the signed and stamped Confirmation of arrival.

If an incoming student requires a signature on the Arrival Certificate of the home institution, it must be sent to erasmus@wseiz.pl before coming to the Erasmus+ Office.

Incoming student from third countries not associated to the Programme is obliged to sign a grant agreement with the Erasmus Office (*only applied to students coming under KA171 project) – see a draft.
