Do you want to find a practical application of your artistic skills? The study of Design has been included in the list of the Minister of Science and Higher Education as one of the 15 key studies important for the development of the Polish economy. At UEM you will develop your interests and talents as well as gain your first design experience.

As a graduate, you will be able to design: everyday objects, furniture, elements of small architecture, packaging, applied graphics. You will also prepare brand identification and visual communication. You will gain knowledge of the methods of working on a design task, defining the form of a product, in the field of design art, understanding and resolving functional-utility, technical and economic issues of a product.

Lecturers of the study of Design are eminent teachers and specialists in this field, who provide the highest quality knowledge and practical skills to students, among others: Wojciech Małolepszy, PhD, associate professor, President of the Stowarzyszenie Projektantów Form Przemysłowych, Witold Surowiecki, PhD, professor, Grzegorz Strzelewicz, M.A., author of many projects of electronic devices for general use (among others: OR RADMOR, OR AMATOR, OR JULIA, OR MARIA, HiFi MINI set, Slim-Line, MD 3401 SD studio tape recorder), and Maciej Konopka, PhD, author of the projects and awarded advertising campaigns for Gillette, Coca-Cola, Casio, OralB, Timex, Multichoice, Centertel, Seat, Elf, Castorama, and others. The author of the name OralB on behalf of Codes, as well as numerous projects carried out with Brandy Design for, among others, Ernst&Young, Deloitte, Credit Suisse, Warsaw City Hall, Zachęta, Warsaw Monument Conservator’s Office.
