The degree enables you to plan, design and implement landscaping projects, such as gardens, parks, boulevards and nature reserves. As a landscape architect you will be able to exert a significant influence on the surrounding landscape. You will be able to model your surroundings and change the landscape to make it more harmonious and functional.

The programme prepares you to shape space in a functional and aesthetic way. During your bachelor’s degree, you will learn how to combine engineering skills with an artistic sense. You will also acquire knowledge of natural, agricultural and technical sciences, as well as fine arts.

Scope of studies
Studying Landscape Architecture (first degree studies) at UEM (WSEiZ) you will gain practical and theoretical knowledge about:

carrying out inventory work of landscape architecture objects,

assessing the vegetation structure of landscape architecture objects,

carrying out development projects for landscape architecture objects, including historic buildings,

construction and maintenance of landscape architecture facilities,

managing and supervising implementation and maintenance work in landscape architecture facilities,

managing entities that deal with design, construction and maintenance of landscape architecture facilities,

co-operation with other professionals involved in the design, construction and maintenance of landscape architecture facilities.

As a part of your studies at the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw you will be prepared to:

perform analyses and assessments of natural, cultural, spatial and social conditions of designed areas,

develop designs for the development of facilities and areas defined in spatial development plans, including historic sites,

construct and maintain designed landscapes,

manage and supervise implementation and maintenance works in landscape architecture facilities,

manage units involved in the design, construction and maintenance of landscapes.
