Design lecturer in France

On 28 November, 2018 Jan Diehl-Michałowski – Master of Arts, lecturer at the WSEiZ Faculty of Architecture, conducted lecture in Dijon on Polish School of Posters. The event took place in École Nationale Supérieure d’art in Dijon. The mobility was realised thanks to the Erasmus+ Programme for staff members of the WSEiZ.

Beside the lecture Mr Diehl-Michałowski conducted workshops to the students: ‘TypoPolo – Polish typography of the 1990s and contemporary typography in Poland’ and ‘Josef Muller Brockemann and the grid system – working on an imaginary museum’.

Jan Diehl-Michałowski works in graphic design and visual communication. He has been working in Michałowski Studio since 2012. He participated in a foreign exchange at Decorative Arts School in Strasburg (2012/13) and studied in New Sorbonne University Paris 3 (2013/14). He graduated Design Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2015, Dean’s Honour List). He is a postgraduate student at the Interior Design Faculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (graphic design and public space). He has been awarded with the French government scholarship (2013) and Society of Authors ZAiKS grant (2017). He belongs to the academic staff at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Ecology and Management in Warsaw, majoring in Design.
