dr. Ewelina Pałucka, associate professor at WSEiZ, visited la Sapienza Universita di Roma

Between 26^th and 30^th April 2021, dr. Ewelina Pałucka, associate professor at WSEiZ, visited la Sapienza Universita di Roma.

During the visit, which took place as part of the Erasmus+ program, she conducted lectures on sustainable development as well as social responsibility not only of business, but also of universities. Meetings with students gave an opportunity to present WSEiZ and Warsaw as a student city and a large center of business opportunities.

Due to the fact that sustainable development has been defined as the strategic goal of la Sapienza Universita di Roma, and the issue itself is present not only in the curricula of most fields of study, but also in the functioning of the entire academic center, apart from the lectures, there were also discussion panels and meetings with professors conducting research in the field of sustainable development and social responsibility, aimed at comparing the directions, scope and results of research led in this field.

The visit also turned out to be an incredible opportunity to see almost depopulated Rome, despite the fact that it was a period of slow easing of restrictions, e.g. by opening gastronomic terrasses.
