Railway construction specialty at UEM (WSEiZ) in Warsaw – why is it worth it?

FOR WHOM WAS THE SPECIALTY OF RAILWAY CONSTRUCTION CREATED?

This is a continuation of the specialty available in the Bachelor program (first-cycle studies) of Civil Engineering. In this way, we enable students to further develop their skills and gain knowledge.

PRACTICAL ASPECT OF THE PROFESSION

Under the Railway construction specialty (Bachelor studies) you will gain knowledge and skills of:

design and construction of modern railway routes including the infrastructure (crossings, railway stations, platforms, tunnels) also for High-Speed Railways,

development and renovation of catenary systems in modern transport systems, methods of planning the development of railway transport systems,

the control of railway traffic and the modernisation of existing facilities,

construction, with particular emphasis on new technologies in railway transport.
