Are you fascinated by the technical aspects of railways? Do you want to design railway routes and participate in the creation of modern infrastructure? If yes, this specialty has been created for you.

The practical aspect of the profession

Under the Railway construction specialty you will gain knowledge and skills of:

  • design and construction of modern railway routes including the infrastructure (crossings, railway stations, platforms, tunnels) also for High-Speed Railways,
  • development and renovation of catenary systems, methods of planning the development of railway transport systems,
  • control of railway traffic and the modernisation of existing facilities,

You can continue Railway construction specialty as part of Civil Engineering studies (second-cycle studies).
